PwC says new programme will help mothers going back to work
A leading professional services firm is today launching a new programme to help people get back on the career ladder after an extended break.
PwC’s “Back to Business” programme is aimed at mothers who took time out, but the firm says the 12-week course is open to men and women of all experience levels.
PwC said the programme is part of a wider effort to improve diversity across its business.
PwC head of people Gaenor Bagley said: “We are looking to tackle those beliefs head on and help women feel confident as they resume their careers.”
“Many women who have had time out of the workplace to raise a family may feel that they are being overlooked by recruiters due to the gap in their CV,” she added. “Our programme is designed to address people’s experience gap and provide another route to get talented people back into the workplace.”
