Star Wars 7 The Force Awakens spoilers: Chrome extension Force Block is the only alert tool you need to stop them
It's finally here. After years of waiting, the biggest ever movie franchise follow up, Star Wars VII The Force Awakens, is hitting cinema screens.
But with such hype comes one great risk to film-lovers – the spoiler, or the chance of someone letting slip the plot details. "Spoilers are the path to the dark side. Spoilers lead to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering," as Yoda himself might have said.

But relax, there is a solution.
A kind soul has created a Chrome extension designed to alert you to pages and websites which might be giving too much away. A "possible spoiler alert page" appears instead of what you clicked on and the wise words: "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of spoilers.
The Force Block extension apparently uses the force of "smart pattern detection", and users can chose to white list sites too.
Now, you don't have to remain in the dark (side) until you see the blockbuster. Enjoy using the internet freely with complete abandon and safe in the knowledge that you won't spoil the movie.
