HAMPSHIRE TRUST BANK
Karen Brown and John Pollington have joined Hampshire Trust Bank’s Property Finance team as directors while Daniel Norman has been appointed as Property Finance Lending Manager. Karen, who has 12 years’ property finance experience, is based in Harrogate. Prior to joining Hampshire Trust Bank she ran her own training company and before that worked at RBS. Prior to joining Hampshire Trust Bank, John worked at Jordan International and Investec. He is focused on relationships in the south of England.
ACCEL
Philippe Botteri has been named general partner at Accel, the global venture capital firm. Botteri joined Accel with an investment focus on Software as a Service (SaaS), enterprise and marketplace businesses. He has led the firm’s investments in, among others, global leader in ridesharing BlaBlaCar, SaaS leader in e-signatures DocuSign and e-commerce technology company Qubit.

Nigel Dale, presently a banking partner at Eversheds LLP, is joining specialist lender Together as general counsel. Nigel has been head of the banking team at Eversheds’ Manchester office for 20 years and acting as an advisor to many north west and national companies, handling major financing deals.

Astrid O’Reilly is relocating from Singapore to London as the specialist Lloyd’s underwriter looks to strengthen the M&A product offering within the European markets. Astrid joined Marketform in June 2015 and, having successfully set up Marketform’s Asian platform, will continue to oversee business development in that territory along with the additional other targeted markets within Europe.
SOCIETE GENERALE
Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Herve Le Corre as global head of infrastructure finance, effective January 4, next year. Herve was previously deputy head of the risk department in charge of corporates covered by Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking since September 2014. He joined Societe Generale Coroprate and Investment Banking in 2006 within the infrastructure project finance team, advising on and arranging project financings in the accommodation and transport sectors. Before joining the bank, he started his career in 2002 within the French Treasury where he specialised in public housing financing and the monitoring of saving funds.
