Morgan urges England to keep pushing one-day boundaries

Skipper Eoin Morgan has urged his England side to continue straining at the leash in a bid revitalise their white-ball game ahead of the first one-day showdown against South Africa in Bloemfontein tomorrow.
England have adopted an attacking one-day philosophy since their harrowing group-stage elimination from the World Cup less than 12 months ago, very much in the mould of today's opponents.
“We are playing a completely different brand of cricket,” said Morgan. “We are playing a similar brand to what South Africa did in the World Cup. In that regard we are playing a bit of catch-up because we weren’t good enough at the time.
“The fact that we continue to push our boundaries in the last eight months that we’ve been together is becoming the norm. The further we can do that and the longer we can prolong that the better a side we will become.”
A late decision will be made on the fitness of opening batsman Jason Roy who suffered a back spasm on Monday. The 25-year-old was able to bat in the nets yesterday but only played a limited role in fitness drills.
