Mapped: London’s happiest (and unhappiest) boroughs – Kensington, Kingston and Bromley are happier than Islington, Hackney and Havering
Looking for a happier life? It can be found in London – you'll just find it in some places more than others.
The happiest Londoners are located in Kensington, Kingston and Bromley while the least content are residing in Islington, Hackney and Havering according to the most comprehensive figures to date of the nation's wellbeing.
Those in Bromley, Ealing and Newham are also a happy go-lucky lot, rating highly for happiness, while residents of Hammersmith, Croydon and Westminster also lag at the bottom of the table as the least happy boroughs.
Collected by the Office of National Statistics, it brings together the numbers from across three years between 2012 to 2015.

Wherever you live in the capital however, you're relatively happy – all areas scored above seven, putting the city collectively in the "high" category.
True to some people's stereotype of grumpy Londoners though, the capital's wellbeing is falling behind the nations'. The average happiness across the capital came in at 7.31 out of 10, compared to 7.38 across the UK. But, it's not all bad. The capital inches ahead, however, taking into account England alone, which scored 7.37, on average.
Anyone looking to boost their happiness levels should consider a move to the Outer Hebrides. The Western Isles and its population of just 28,000 people are the happiest in Britain.

Meanwhile, those in Liverpool and Wolverhampton are the least happy in the country.
The same figures, released this week also revealed that we're happiest after the age of 65.
