Flights at Abu Dhabi International Airport are suspended due to severe weather
Abu Dhabi airport has suspended flights and Dubai's Emirates Airlines has warned of delays due to severe weather conditions.
The airport has also cancelled the UAE Air Expo 2016 for the rest of the day due to the weather conditions.
It says an update will be issued later today.
The airport said it had suspended flights for the safety of passengers and "in line with civil aviation regulations".
The conditions appear to have caused damage to the airport.
