Adele hacked: Singer targeted by hackers as private photos reportedly leaked on Facebook fan group
Adele is the latest star to be targeted by hackers as reports claim the singer has had personal photos stolen.
Photos of herself as a child, when she was pregnant and of her son were shared on a Facebook fan group on Friday, it's claimed.
One of the fans in the group alerted the star's management team and told the Sun on Sunday "I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures. They are really private and should not be passed around."
The London-born musician is known for keeping her private life private, stepping away from the spotlight for several years before unveiling her new album last year. On her world tour which came to home turf at the O2 arena this week, she thanked fans for respecting her privacy.
The images were obtained via her partner's email, the report claims.
Several stars have been the subject of hacks in the past. One of the most high profile was an iBrute force attack on Apple iPhones which resulted in nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton being leaked.
Celebrities have turned to old style flip phones which are not connected to the internet and do not upload photos to cloud storage to avoid being targeted by hackers.
Adele even appeared with a fip phone in her video for new song Hello, however, it was the aesthetic of the shoot which was the reason behind its use, according to the director.
