Acadian Asset Management
Acadian Asset Management (UK) the London based subsidiary of Acadian Asset Management LLC, the specialist quantitative active global equity investor headquartered in Boston, has announced the appointment of Ian Shea as director of Middle East sales and client service. Ian will be based in Acadian’s London office, and joins Acadian from bfinance, where he served as director, head of equity manager research. Previously, Ian was senior associate at Mercer Investment Consulting, where he spent four years.
Moorhouse
Mike Creasey has joined business transformation consultancy Moorhouse as client director, a position that will see him leading the merger, acquisition and divestment service line. Previously a director in Deloitte’s integration & separation team within the firm’s corporate finance practice, Mike brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in managing large-scale mergers, acquisitions and divestments for blue-chip organisations in a number of sectors. Since 1998, he has held a series of progressively more senior roles in similar areas of M&A consultancy at Atos and KPMG.
GGW
John Bergin has joined Moorgate-based GGW Corporate Services, an associate company of Smith & Williamson, as a director. John has spent 25 years in the construction and development industry, initially with Amec before moving to Vinci, one of the world’s largest concessions and construction groups where he was head of UK project development. At GGW, John will focus on real estate, healthcare and ground-based aviation financing in the UK and Europe.
