Marsh
Marsh, the insurance broker and risk adviser and a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, has announced that Abbey Sturrock has joined the firm’s political risk and structured credit practice as a senior vice president within the public agency group. Based in London, Abbey will be responsible for delivering Marsh’s market-leading advisory and placement capabilities to the public agency sector, including multilateral development banks (MDBs) and export credit agencies (ECAs). She joins from the Berne Union, a global association of public and private export credit and investment insurers, where she served as a director. Prior to that, Abbey was an underwriter for Export Development Canada (EDC), an export credit agency headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario.
Duncan Lawrie Private Bank
Duncan Lawrie Private Bank has announced the board appointment of Sally Tennant. Sally, who currently holds a number of non-exec roles in the financial services and charity sectors, will be appointed as a non-executive director and chair of Duncan Lawrie, and Duncan Lawrie Asset Management following approval by the regulators. Over a more than 30-year career in investment management and private banking, Sally has held roles as a main board director of Gartmore, CEO of Schroders Private Bank, CEO of Lombard Odier and CEO of Kleinwort Benson.

Red24, the crisis management assistance company, has announced that Nick Powis has joined as head of operations and that John Michael Brigg has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Nick joins red24 from Marsh, where he was crisis consultancy director. He has 20 years’ international security risk-management and crisis-management experience. Michael has extensive knowledge and experience across the Insurance industry, involving startups, mergers & acquisitions, business and growth strategy and customer management, with a particular focus over the past 24 years on Asia, India and the Middle East. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Clicktripz
Travel technology firm Clicktripz has appointed Jennifer Chua as vice president of Clicktripz’s Asia and Pacific region. Jennifer has close to 20 years’ experience in her specialist field of travel technology. Her career began working with the GDS, at Abacus and then Amadeus, before moving to OTA Travelocity and then flight metasearch Skyscanner.
