No puppy love here: Mumsnet’s younger sister site Gransnet is pairing up with romantic novel peddler Mills & Boon
If there's one thing we took away from last week's Mumsnet mayoral hustings, it's that users of the site are big fans of romance novels.
Knowing its target audience only too well Mumsnet's sister site for tech-savvy matriarchs, Gransnet, is announcing a partnership with romantic novel peddler Mills & Boon.
Gransnet says that the partnership "will see the two brands locking eyes across their monitors and sharing secret smiles as they work in perfect harmony to create content."

Loosely translated, this means that authors from the amorous arm of publisher Harlequin will contribute guest blogs to the Gransnet website, sharing insights and wisdom gleaned from over one hundred years of publishing, as well as providing users with interactive quizzes, competitions and topics for forum debates.
Romantic literature is a major talking point with users of both Mumsnet and Gransnet. Conservative mayoral candidate Zac Goldsmith was likened to Rupert Campbell-Black, a fictional character in the Rutshire Chronicles series of romance novels written by Jilly Cooper.
