One killed, others seriously injured after knifeman attacks rail passengers in Grafing, Munich
One person has been killed and several others seriously injured after a man attacked passengers at a train station in Grafing, near Munich, local media is reporting.
The knifeman is said to have wounded a number of people, at least three of whom are said to have been left with life-threatening injuries. One man has reportedly died from injuries sustained during the attack.
The suspect, who is said to have shouted "Allahu Akbar" – or God is Great – during the attack, is believed to have been arrested.
Local police have said they believe the attacks were political in nature and are now looking into witness statements supporting these claims, Bayerischer Rundfunk reported.

The German publication said the suspect was young and not known to the police, who are now working to identify him.
The Munich authorities have imposed a news blackout.
