EgyptAir MS804 crash caused by “explosion”, official claims
Evidence suggests last week's EgyptAir crash – in which 66 people died – was caused by an explosion, a forensic official has claimed.
Debris and body parts have since been found, which an unnamed official has said points to an explosion.
The Associated Press quotes the source as saying all 80 body parts looked at so far are small and that “there isn't even a whole body part, like an arm or a head", adding: “The logical explanation is that it was an explosion."
No formal cause has been given from authorities and terrorism has not been ruled out.
The black box was discovered over the weekend, which is expected to give investigators a clearer idea of the events leading up to the plane's crash.
