Ayming
International business performance consultancy group Ayming has appointed Alejandro Alvarez as UK director for operations performance. Alejandro has been brought in to launch Ayming’s UK operations performance business unit, which will focus on helping clients to improve their operational efficiency, procurement & supply chain performance and working capital. Prior to joining Ayming, Alejandro was a principal at Efficio Consulting, where he played a significant role in the company’s growth and strategic direction. As principal, Alejandro was also responsible for overseeing projects across several industries including financial services, retail, insurance, utilities, manufacturing and logistics.
Falcon Fine Art
Falcon Fine Art has announced that Clemence Petit has joined the company to help boost expansion and further drive its growth. She will focus on developing relationships to encourage the use of art finance, as well as on creating bespoke art financing solutions for a range of potential clients. Clemence has extensive expertise in the European private banking and non-bank financing industry, having previously held roles at Credit Lyonnais Securities, BNP Paribas, Gamma Finance and Societe Generale with a particular focus on Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and France. She has successfully assisted clients on transactions ranging from $100,000 (£68,000) to $200m.
Criticaleye
Criticaleye, the peer-to-peer board community, has announced the appointment of Ron Marsh, former chief executive of plastic packaging company RPC Group, to its team of board mentors. During his time at the helm of RPC Group, Ron successfully led the company through its flotation in 1993 to become an established member of the FTSE 250 and a leading provider of plastic packaging.
Druces
London law firm Druces has announced the hire of Jonathan Fox as chief executive. Jonathan started his management career at Boots, before going on to spend four years as head of client development at global law firm DLA Piper. In 2001, he was headhunted by solicitors Collyer Bristow as their first ever CEO. In 2006, Jonathan became CEO at St Philips Chambers, the second largest set in the UK, where he oversaw the largest merger ever seen at the Bar. He then joined chartered accountants Saffery Champness in 2008 where he was quickly elected the firm’s first non-accountant managing partner. During his time in the role, the firm had its most successful year of trading in 160 years.
