Here are the top places to live for young professionals

Brighton came in seventh place in the survey of property sales made to 25 to 44 year olds.
London dominates the list; 16 of the areas listed are in the capital, and 10 are in the SW postcode. Locations such as Wandsworth, Wimbeldon, Battersea, Balham and Clapham are all proving popular with young urban dwellers.
The popularity of Hove over areas in the capital may well be explained by house prices – the average house price in Hove is £352,718 compared to £716, 217 in Wandsworth, which was second on the list.
North of the river, Hampstead, Kilburn, Paddington and Islington prove popular with home buyers. However, north London may be suffering due to its outrageous property prices – of the northerly postcodes listed, only Kilburn had a house price under £1m.
The £1m price tag is widespread in London, making it difficult for young people – even bankers – to get onto the property ladder. Research out yesterday showed 20 per cent of London homes are for sale at £1m or more.
It is perhaps no wonder, then, that housebuilders have been busy in the Home Counties as Londoners flee the city's horrendous house prices.
