Tesco is opening a pop-up wine bar in Soho on Wardour Street this summer
It might not be what you'd normally expect from a visit to Tesco, but this summer for the first time you will be able to visit the supermarket giant's first pop-up wine bar nestled in the heart of Soho.
The finest* wine bar, tied into the grocer's Tesco Finest* range, will be open from 2 to 13 August on Wardour Street.
More than 70 wines will be available by the glass, while experts and winemakers will also be on hand to answer questions to novice tasters and those wishing to get out of their red, white or rose comfort zone.

While all the wines will be available to purchase by the glass, rookies can also opt for one of the carefully created wine flights. Designed to introduce visitors to "exciting alternatives that are beyond their usual repertoire", each wine flight will comprise three glasses of similar or different wine styles for consumers to compare and contrast.
Tesco wines won two gold medals at the 2016 International Wine Challenge for its £6 Dessert Semillon and £11 Sancerre, both from its finest* range.
In that case, bottoms up.
