AmazonFresh opens up to new London postcodes
US online retailer Amazon has expanded its recently launched fresh food delivery service, Amazon Fresh, across London.
Its footprint has grown from 69 to 128 London postcodes less than a month after it began the service in London.
Amazon Fresh’s arrival sent shockwaves through the grocery industry.
Online supermarket Ocado’s shares fell to a three-year low on Amazon Fresh’s launch in May. However, shares rebounded after the grocer’s pre-tax profits rose 18 per cent to £8.5m in the six months to 15 May.

The initial response we have received from customers in the capital has been very positive with many calling out low prices, vast selection and fast delivery as their reasons to shop on Amazon Fresh.
