Deloitte
Deloitte has appointed Stephen Rees as a real estate senior advisor in its private client and family office group. Stephen will support family offices wishing to access UK commercial real estate, and provide a strategic and execution role as families continue to seek alternative investment opportunities in the UK. Stephen started his career at JLL, where he spent 12 years in the UK and Asia and became a partner in 1995. He then joined UBS Wealth Management to run the UK property services desk, before leaving six years later to set up his own real estate advisory business. In 2012, Stephen moved to Coutts Private Bank to advise clients on investing into UK commercial and residential real estate.
AXA Investment Managers
AXA Investment Managers has appointed Jean-Christophe Menioux as general secretary and chief financial officer. Jean-Christophe will be a member of AXA IM’s management board and report to Andrea Rossi, the company’s CEO. He joins AXA IM from AXA Group where he was most recently responsible for their life & savings business line and has previously held various positions within the firm including group treasurer and group chief risk officer. Jean-Christophe replaces Elie Harari who joins AXA Partners as CFO.
CBRE Capital Advisors
Jean-Philippe Establier, formerly a director in M&A advisory across EMEA at Barclays, has joined CBRE as a director in the energy and infrastructure team. Jean-Philippe has over 11 years’ experience as a corporate finance and M&A specialist, involved in deals across the utilities, infrastructure, real estate and telecom industries. Prior to Barclays Jean-Philippe worked at ABN Amro and ING. Stefano Schivo has also joined the team as senior analyst. Prior to CBRE, Stefano worked for two years within the Infrastructure Group EMEA at BNP Paribas where he executed a number of debt and rating advisory mandates.
EY
EY has appointed Errol Gardner as global deputy vice chair of EY Advisory Services. Based in London, Errol will be responsible for strategy and operations across EY Advisory Services worldwide. He succeeds Steve Martin, who will return to the EY Financial Services Organisation to work with key clients and EY market leaders. In his new role, Errol will focus on driving the continued growth of the EY Advisory business globally and implementing strategy to address the disruption and pace of change affecting EY clients and the consulting industry. Errol was previously global leader for the technology consulting practice. Before joining EY, he held a number of senior roles at IBM and PwC where he managed global implementations of SAP and Oracle solutions.
