London-based broker strikes up US strategic alliance
UK-based broker N+1 Singer has today announced a new partnership with US wealth manager Janney Montgomery Scott.
The agreement with Janney, which has more than $66bn (£51bn) of client assets, will enable N+1 to run US roadshows for corporate clients.

“Janney has a venerable 184 year history and offers full wealth management and broking services to corporates, institutions and individuals,” N+1 said a statement.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, Janney has 108 offices across the US. It is a subsidiary of the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company and specialises in mid- and smaller-cap companies with a focus on life sciences, healthcare, high-tech industrials and financials.
N+1 said: “We will be offering road show opportunities and a research distribution facility for both our client bases across our mutual sectors, which will have the potential to significantly increase our reach and relevance to all our clients.

“As a follow up to this strategic alliance, we will develop the ability for our corporate clients to road show in the US via the Janney Institutional Research team and vice versa.
“With this exciting tie up we can also distribute our research product through Janney’s network, which reaches over 1,000 institutional investors; likewise we will be able to offer our UK clients the Janney research product where appropriate.”
