Aim-listed Science in Sport’s share price up almost a quarter on nutrition agreement with USA Cycling
Aim-listed Science in Sport's share price popped 24 per cent today on the news it will become the official fitness nutrition suppler to USA Cycling.
The cycling organisation, which is the governing body for all disciplines of competitive cycling in the US, has signed a supply agreement running until 31 December 2017.
Science in Sport recently expanded into the US market as part of its strategy to become a global seller in the endurance sports nutrition market.
The company's share price jumped 24 per cent to a day-high of 68p, and was trading at 67.5p, up 23 per cent, at the time of writing.

As per the agreement, it will supply bag drops and stock neutral feed stations for all US National Championship events with a comprehensive range of lab-tested Science in Sport nutrition products, including Go Hydro tablets and its world-first isotonic Go Gels.
Chief executive Stephen Moon said: "We are making excellent progress increasing brand awareness in the US and this agreement represents one of the strands in our strategy for growing the brand in the US.
"We are delighted to be making our truly innovative and competition-tested sports nutrition products available to American cyclists."
