Metamako
Metamako, a specialist in deterministic network devices for the world’s financial institutions, has appointed Kevin Covington as CEO. With a long career in the fintech industry, Kevin has many years’ experience of growing and developing financial technology companies. He was one of the creators of the concept of co-location. In his previous position as CEO of ITRS Group he was instrumental in negotiating the sale of the company to one of the largest technology private equity firms in the world. Kevin has been working with Metamako as an advisor since the end of 2014 but the founder of the company said it’s time for him to take on a more formal role at the firm.
Cohen & Steers
James Cahill has joined global investment manager Cohen & Steers' London office as head of funds and sub-advisory sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In his new role, James will be responsible for developing relationships with financial intermediaries in the EMEA region, raising awareness of Cohen & Steers' expertise in liquid real assets and income solutions, including real estate securities, listed infrastructure, natural resource equities, commodities and preferred securities. With a career in the asset management industry spanning 28 years, James comes to Cohen & Steers from Principal Global Investors, where he served as director of European fund distribution. There, he developed and executed wholesale and sub-advisory distribution strategies for products covering multiple asset classes.
RSA
Global insurer RSA has appointed Martyn Green as the company’s new personal lines product and pricing director. Martyn will report to David Coughlan, UK personal lines’ managing director. An actuary, Martyn has worked widely across the insurance industry, with posts at Axa, Marks and Spencer Financial Services and Lloyds TSB. Martyn will join RSA from BGL, where he was responsible for the customer pricing for over two million intermediated business customers.
Elixirr Partners
Eric Rich, one of the founding Partners of Infosys Consulting, has joined Elixirr Partners to lead the expansion of their business into the United States. Eric brings over 24 years of experience to the team and has held various different leadership positions across Infosys Consulting, PwC and IBM. He has spent his career driving complex transformation programs for some of the world’s largest global companies across most major industry segments and geographies.
