Commuters facing disruption to and from Moorgate station until 10am

Commuters are facing rush hour disruption this morning, with delays on services in and out of Moorgate station in the City.

National Rail said a broken down train between Drayton Park and Moorgate is causing delays of up to 30 minutes to trains to and from Moorgate. Some services to the station will be amended to start and or terminate at Finsbury Park.

The rail operator originally said the disruption would continue until around 08:00, but it's now expecting delays until 10:00.

National Rail said customers can follow the incident on Twitter using the hashtag #DraytonPark

Commuters took to the social media website to complain about the disrupted service.

good grief! The services into and out of moorgate really are the most appalling! How much money do your delays cost in staff time!
