Alpha FMC
Alpha FMC, the wealth and asset management consulting firm, has appointed Kenn Taylor as director to lead the UK consulting team. Ken was previously partner in the financial services advisory practice at Grant Thornton where he led the investment management business consulting team. Kenn has over 20 years’ experience advising clients on changes to the retail distribution and retirement landscape. He has led consulting teams at Grant Thornton, Navigant and Troika in the retail investment, retirement and wealth markets, and conducted critical assignments for the leading UK wealth and asset managers, as well as retail and workplace platforms. Kenn’s experience covers business and markets strategy, particularly proposition development, platform assessment and selection, operating models, business case development and deal negotiations.
Bevan Brittan
Law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed Carly Caton as a health partner in its London office. Carly joins from Pinsent Masons where she was a director. In 15 years at Pinsent Masons, Carly worked on a wide range of commercial transactions and partnering arrangements in the health sector. Carly has advised on a number of different types of commercial ventures in health, including joint ventures, private patient hospital projects, consolidations and mergers and integrated care projects. She also has considerable experience advising NHS clients and private sector healthcare clients on international healthcare projects.
Six Degrees Group
Six Degrees Group (6DG), the converged technology infrastructure provider, has appointed Danny Bottoms, former CEO of GTS Central Europe, as chairman, and Paul Mills, former head of sales for Rackspace UK, as group sales director. New chairman Danny brings 25 years’ experience in the telecoms and media industries operating in several regions across the globe. He has a wealth of knowledge from working in private equity backed companies and delivering significant shareholder returns. Most recently he was the CEO of GTS Central Europe until its acquisition by Deutsche Telekom in 2014. He is based in Virginia, USA. Paul is joining 6DG from Rackspace UK and brings 10 years’ sales management experience in the IT managed services space.
Target Group
Target Group, the financial services outsourcing and software provider, has appointed Jeremy Edwards as the company’s chief client officer. Having held senior leadership positions at Accenture, Firstsource Solutions and Hinduja Global Services, Jeremy brings with him a wealth of experience in financial services, business process outsourcing (BPO) and client services. Jeremy will join Target’s executive committee and report into Co-Group CEO Ian Larkin.
