US Presidential election 2016: Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States
Donald Trump has been declared the 45th President of the United States.
Hillary Clinton has conceded the race, and Trump is currently giving his victory speech.
"I say it is time for us to come together as one united people," Trump told his supporters in New York.
"To those who have chosen not to support me in the past, of which there were a few people, I'm reaching out to you for your guidance and our help so we can unify our great country. As I've said from the beginning, ours was not a campaign, but rather an incredible and great movement made up of millions of hard working men and women who love their country and want a better, brighter future for themselves and their family."
He also congratulated Clinton.

The billionaire property magnate took a number of key states as early results rolled in, and the final tally saw him win 276 electoral college votes to Clinton's 218.

The Mexican peso, seen as a barometer for the US leadership race, plunged to record lows as Trump emerged as the victor, although it has since recovered somewhat.
The news has sent the pound up more than 1.2 per cent up against the dollar this morning, and gold prices have soared as investors rush to safe haven assets in anticipation of economic volatility ahead.
Meanwhile, the Canadian immigration website crashed.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May offered her congratulations to Trump, and said she looks forward to working with the President-elect to "ensure the security and prosperity of our nations" in the future.
