Bank holiday: Rainy weather forecast for London
Partygoers at one of Europe’s biggest street party Notting Hill Carnival could be in for a drenching tomorrow with heavy and persistent rain forecast.
The Met Office expects a bright start to tomorrow which will then turn windy with outbreaks of rain spreading east.

The rain is forecast to be heavy and persistent during the afternoon before easing away in the evening.
In contrast to recent hot spells were the temperature has consistently reached 30°C, tomorrow’s maximum temperature is expected to be just 18 °C.
Monday is expected to be drier, with variable cloud, sunny spells and occasional showers.
Carnival kicks off tomorrow in West London with children’s day, which is recommended for families as it has smaller crowds and kid-friendly floats.
Close to a million people are expected to attend carnival over the two days.
