Take part in Maggie’s London Night Hike
see London like you’ve never seen it before – all whilst shining a light to help people with cancer
Maggie’s Barts is encouraging people to walk 10 or 20 miles on 30th September – head out after dark, pass iconic landmarks and support your local Maggie’s centre at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital.
On the hike you’ll visit two Maggie’s centres and face the ultimate night-time challenge to support people with cancer, their families, and friends. The walk is perfect for all experience levels, and every walker will get a free Maggie’s t-shirt.
In order to live more positively with cancer, Maggie believed people need information, stress-reducing strategies, psychological support, and the opportunity to meet other people in similar circumstances in a relaxed and beautiful setting. All Maggie’s centres are individually designed by leading architects to feel like and home, all with a kitchen table at their heart.
Maggie’s Barts relies entirely on voluntary donations to allow them to continue developing their unique programme of free support for all those living with cancer in the area.
Located on the grounds of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, Maggie’s Barts is a warm and welcoming centre, with qualified professionals on hand to offer an evidence-based core programme of support, which has been shown to improve physical and emotional wellbeing.
Challenge yourself and walk 10 or 20 miles this Autumn and raise money for people with cancer
