Riverstone
Developer and operator of high-quality retirement living in prime London locations Riverstone has appointed Jason Leek as chief executive Officer. Jason joins Riverstone from London Executive Offices, a provider of central London luxury office and event space, where he was CEO. He previously spent 13 years at Compass Group, the global food and support services firm, as managing director and head of global strategy and mergers and acquisitions, where he led the growth of a number of key business platforms. Riverstone is majority owned by Goldman Sachs and aims to become the UK’s pre-eminent retirement living operator. It has an aspiration to create a portfolio upwards of 10 sites in prime London locations over the coming three to four years and a best-in-class team assembled to deliver on this strategy. Riverstone is currently developing two major sites in London, in Fulham and Kensington, which are due for completion in late 2021 and early 2022 respectively. Jason’s follows the arrival of Simon Loveridge as chief financial officer in July. Prior to joining Riverstone, Simon was CFO and MD (Asia Pacific) of Global Student Accommodation Group where he funded and managed over £2bn worth of assets.
Bibby Financial Services
Global small and medium-sized enterprise partner, Bibby Financial Services (BFS), has announced the appointment of Theo Chatha as chief financial officer. Prior to joining BFS, Theo spent 11 years with Close Brothers, holding a variety of executive roles across its banking, property finance, and asset finance and leasing divisions. Most recently, he held the role of bank finance director, overseeing the finance function reporting to the banking division managing director and group finance director. Reporting to global chief executive, David Postings, Theo will join the BFS global executive committee and board. He will oversee operational finance, financial control, and financial planning and analysis.
Cashflows Europe
Cashflows Europe, the payments and technology group, has announced the appointment of Amanda Mesler as its new chief executive. Amanda will lead Cashflows in its mission to become Europe’s most innovative and high growth payments business. She is an experienced and highly regarded business leader whose extensive professional career has encompassed roles at GE, Microsoft and Logica. She joins Cashflows from Earthport, the UK payments company, where she was chief executive and led the recent successful sale of the business to Visa. Amanda will join Cashflows with immediate effect. Cashflows developed a cloud-based, omni-channel, payments platform for the processing and acquiring of payment providers.
