Paw-rogued: Larry the cat on alert as new pup moves into Downing Street
A new puppy has moved into Downing Street today to join Prime Minister Boris Johnson during his stay at number 10.
The dog, which is a Jack Russell cross, is moving from Wales where it was rescued from a puppy farm.

He will be joining the Prime Minister and his partner Carrie Symonds, who will adopt him from Friends of Animals Wales.
But fortunately for Downing Street’s other furry friend, the as yet unnamed cur will stick to the couple’s residence, and not venture into the rest of Downing Street, the BBC reported.
“We knew that Carrie Symonds has always been a huge animal welfare advocate and we are absolutely overjoyed that this gorgeous pup will be living his best life with Carrie and the Prime Minister at their Downing Street home,” said Friends of Animals Wales.
“To think our little ’wonky’ pup started his life in a Welsh puppy farm and was destined for an uncertain existence at the hands of a puppy dealer, but is now going to be with people who absolutely adore him is a dream come true. This little man will want for nothing in his life, what could be better than that?”

The charity is trying to raise money for a new home where it can bring rescued animals.
It said the number of dogs coming from puppy farms is growing, as more are being handed over to charities. It comes after a new law requiring animals to be reared with their mother. But the charity has outstanding vet bills at £36,000.
