Nextmove cancels order for 85 Teslas over paint defects and faulty wiring
German car rental firm Nextmove has cancelled most of its order of 100 cars from Tesla over quality problems, it said today.
The firm said the more than €5m (£4.57m) deal was called off after it was unable to reach a deal with Tesla over how to fix a series of issues with the cars.

“We believe the customer’s decision not to take delivery of its remaining Model 3 orders wasn’t entirely due to quality issues, but was largely influenced by their frustration with an unrelated dispute from earlier in the year,” Tesla said. It did not explain what the dispute was.
It added that any customer can return their car within seven days, if unhappy with the purchase.
