Axis Corporate
Global management consulting firm Axis Corporate has appointed of Edward Armit as a senior consultant within its London office. Edward joins Axis Corporate from Capgemini where he was a consultant within the process optimisation team, part of the operations transformation practice. This role saw him work with a range of financial services and public sector clients on projects spanning process improvement, customer experience design, automation and business model transformation. Prior to this, Edward was employed by National Australia Bank as a senior analyst within the consumer & wealth business improvement team, based in Melbourne. He was responsible for small to medium project initiatives to improve customer experience and create time and cost efficiencies. Daniel Meere, UK managing director, Axis Corporate, said: “With senior consultants Anastasia Tsoupidi and Bruce Withers joining us earlier this year, Edward’s appointment is further evidence of the strong growth of our practice in the UK.”
AB Dynamics
Designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing systems and measurement products to the global automotive market AB Dynamics has announced the appointment of Sarah Matthews-DeMers as chief financial officer. She will join the board on 4 November. Currently group finance director of Carclo, Sarah was previously director of strategy and investor relations at Rotor, where she led a wide-reaching strategic review of all aspects of the business. Prior to this she was deputy finance director at Avon Rubber, where her responsibilities included corporate reporting, investor relations, treasury, tax, M&A and post-acquisition integration. A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sarah began her career at PwC where she gained extensive experience of working with a wide range of international manufacturing and technology companies.
Aldermore
Tim Boag has been appointed interim business finance managing director at specialist lender Aldermore. He will have overall responsibility for invoice finance, asset finance and commercial real estate. He will replace Carl D’Ammassa who will leave the bank on 15 July. Tim’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval. He joins from the Royal Bank
of Scotland (RBS) where he was managing director for their corporate and commercial sector. He was previously on the management board of Lombard, RBS’s asset finance division and he spent seven
years on the board of the business growth gund, a company set up to make equity investments in small and medium-sized enterprises.
