I had no knowledge, says Woods’ caddy Williams
TIGER WOODS’S caddie Steve Williams insists he had no knowledge of the world No1’s “infidelity”.
Woods is currently taking an indefinite break from golf following revelations about his private life.
“I had no knowledge of what was going on. If I did, I would say I did. I’m an honest person,” said
Williams.
“When he is not competing, I am back in New Zealand. I have no knowledge of what he is doing.”
Woods, 33, has not been seen in public since confessing he had been unfaithful to his wife Elin.
Last night he was dropped by management consultancy firm Accenture, who said the golfer is “no longer the right representative”.
But Williams, who has caddied for Woods since 1999, is standing by him.
He said: “I am committed to him. I understand he needs a break to sort his personal stuff out.”
