£65,000 per month to live next to a car park?
CRIES about how the rental market has gone crazy are audible from Primrose Hill to Hackney Wick these days but nothing has come close to the lavish expenditure of renting Audley House. This Mayfair mansion has just become the most expensive property to hit the rental market, at £65,000 per month. Luckily the Grade II listed property comes fully furnished and decorated (including Ralph Lauren “wall fabric”) so you can save on the trip to IKEA. According to estate agents Wetherell though, they’re expecting the property to go to overseas princes, New York traders on secondment to London, visiting rock stars and Hollywood film stars. One snag, it’s next to a five storey NCP car park. Let’s hope they like cars.
