Natwest online banking outage: Bank apologises as customers unable to access accounts
Natwest customers have been frozen out of their accounts this morning due to an online outage.
The bank confirmed on Twitter that it had been experiencing issues and has been instructing customers to delete temporary internet files and try again.

The outage began at around 5am, according to website Down Detector, until shortly after 9am.
Customers complained they were unable to log in to their accounts, make payments and check balances.

A live outage map revealed hundreds of customers across the country have been unable to access their accounts.
The reports mostly complained that Natwest’s online banking was down but some customers also experienced problems with its mobile app.

A spokesperson for Natwest said: “A small number of customers may have experienced problems accessing mobile and online banking for a short period this morning.
