Gary Neville scores with sale of 50 per cent stake in production company Buzz 16
Gary Neville today proved he still has his eye on the ball after selling a 50 per cent stake in his production company Buzz 16 to a London-based marketing firm.
The former England and Manchester United footballer has agreed to sell half his company for an undisclosed amount to AIM-listed marketing group Reach 4 Entertainment (R4E).

Buzz 16, which was set up in 2016 by Neville and former Premier League producer Scott Melvin, is behind a number of sports-related productions including Class of ‘92: Full Time, which was Sky Sports’s most-downloaded series last year.
R4E is known for running marketing for arts and live entertainment events including the BFI and West End show The Book of Mormon.
Marc Boyan, R4E chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be working with Gary, Scott and the team as Buzz 16 embarks on its next phase of growth.
“Our investment in Buzz 16 was the culmination of a competitive process and is testament to the fact that our vision for the group has broad appeal.”

R4E said the acquisition gets the ball rolling for its move beyond stage and theatre and into the wider area of live entertainment and sport.
Neville said the game-changing move will “strengthen our proposition and ultimately broaden our offering to a wider audience.”
