The telecoms regulator has accused Vodafone of conduct "contrary to the relevant conditions when selling pre-paid mobile telephony (PAYG) services to its PAYG customers and rendering bills to such customers that did not represent the true extent of the service actually provided to them".
The second allegation is that Vodafone has not provided a complaints procedure that is transparent, accessible and effective. Ofcom has also been assessing whether Vodafone's record-keeping in its complaints procedure is up to scratch.
