Bookies are offering the shortest ever odds on a Clinton presidency
Bookmakers have slashed the odds of a Hillary Clinton triumph in next month's US presidential election.
As Donald Trump continues to seek recovery from his 2005 comments on women, his odds have drifted despite an aggressive performance in the second debate between the pair earlier this week.
Ladbrokes is now offering odds to 2/11 on a Clinton victory, while William Hill is providing odds of 1/5.
In both cases, it is the shortest ever odds offered on Clinton.

And Ladbrokes said that 95 per cent of all presidential bets since the revelation of Trump's “locker room” comments have been for Clinton.
Meanwhile, Trump's price is now at their longest for months, with Ladbrokes pricing the billionaire at 4/1, while William Hill is offering 7/2.
Ladbrokes' David Williams said: “Punters have deserted Trump in their droves. In betting terms he's had a catastrophic month and his chances of making President are hanging on by a thread.”
The two presidential candidates will go head-to-head in a third presidential debate on Wednesday next week.
