Now you can book an Uber in advance as Scheduled Rides comes to London
Uber is shaking up the way users can order a car, expanding upon the on-demand model which first made it a hit with a new feature for scheduling journeys ahead of time.
People will now be able to book a car up to a month in advance of their journey, or just 15 minutes ahead.

Uber for Business, which is used by several leading city institutions for corporate travel, will have the new Scheduled Rides feature from today and it will be rolled out to general Uber users in the coming weeks.
“Many of our riders, especially business customers, have asked us to introduce this feature and we’re really excited to bring it to Londoners from today," said Uber London general manager Tom Elvidge.

"Whether it’s having a car ready at the end of a meeting or to take you to the airport, scheduling your Uber in advance means there’s one less thing to worry about.”
Users are given an estimated fare when booking but the pricing will be applied a the time of travel, which may mean surge pricing applies. Travellers can still cancel without charge before the car is dispatched and up to five minutes after it has.
London is the first city in Europe where the Scheduled Rides feature will be available after it was introduced in Seattle in June.
