UK’s largest pub owner Enterprise Inns set to launch pubs around London
The UK’s largest pub owner Enterprise Inns is set to launch pubs around London as part of a new venture called Frontier Pubs.
Enterprise Inns has entered into a "managed expert agreement" with Food & Fuel, the London-based operator of gastro pubs and cafe bars.
It did not say how many pubs it plans to open as part of the venture.
Enterprise Inns describes managed expert agreements as a partnership model they operate with managed house operators “with exceptional profit potential”.
Food & Fuel was founded by Karen Jones, Jo Cumming and Peter Myers in 2006. It runs eight gastro pubs, a sports pub and three cafe bars in the capital.
Simon Townsend, chief executive of Enterprise Inns, said: "This is further evidence of the progress we are making in developing our managed house estate at Enterprise. Karen has a strong track record as one of the most respected operators in the managed pubs sector and we’re very much looking forward to working with her and her team."
