More than 100 flights from Heathrow and Gatwick have been affected by the storm and tens of thousands of homes left without power.
London fire Brigade said it has dealt with more than 100 incidents, while travel across the rail network has also been disrupted on the bank holiday Monday, and many roads for drivers.
