The Crown Estate unveils luxury homes at The Sherwood off Regent Street
The Crown Estate has unveiled its latest collection of luxury apartments near Regent Street, which went on sale to the domestic market today.
Named The Sherwood, the scheme is part of a £1.6bn overhaul across Regent Street and St James’. The developer, which returns all of its profits to the UK government “to benefit the nation”, has a property portfolio valued at just under £11bn.
These homes sit on the corner of Sherwood Street and Brewer Street in an Art Deco building that has been converted by architects at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, which won the prestigious Stirling Prize last year for its re-invention of Burntwood School in Wandsworth.
Set across floors two to eight, there will be 48 apartments from studios to penthouses with prices starting at £1.3m and rising all the way up to £6.1m for a three-bedroom penthouse. Construction is expected to be finished by March 2017.
