Tyson Fury: “You cannot be a d*ckhead and win Sports Personality of the Year” claims BBC presenter
A BBC presenter has surmised the feelings of many towards boxer Tyson Fury by claiming "you cannot be a d*ckhead and win Sports Personality of the Year (Spoty)" live on air.
Fury's inclusion on the BBC's short list for the annual gong – thanks to his impressive defeat of Wladimir Klitschko to become heavyweight champion of the world last month – has been the subject of much criticism after he equated homosexuality with paedophilia and said "a woman's best place is in the kitchen and on her back".

Over 90,000 people have signed a petition calling on the BBC to remove him from the short list.
While discussing this morning's papers on the BBC last night, presenter Clive Myrie weighed in on the issue by putting the issue in simple terms: "It's after the watershed…you cannot be a d*ckhead and win Sports Personality of the Year."

In response to the mounting criticism heading his way, the Manchester-born boxer, who comes from a traveller background, said: "Tyson Fury loves his fellow humans. He doesn't hate anybody."
"I love my women and what I said goes for my wife alone. She knows her place, I know her place. That's our culture of people."
