Christmas shopping 2015 dates: Thought Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppingeddon was over? Think again. Here comes Giving Tuesday, Small Business Saturday, Manic Monday and more
If you thought shoppinggeddon – that is, Black Friday and Cyber Monday – were over, think again.
December is, understandably, the biggest time of the year for retailers as shoppers hit the high-street (and websites), but what's next after the deals day (or weekend ,or even fortnight for some shops) comes to a close?
Here's our round up of the festive season's shopping habits.
Giving Tuesday
The hangover cure for Black Friday and Cyber Monday splurging? That'll be Giving Tuesday. Get you're karma in order by giving something back rather than spend, spend, spend.
"After the sales of Black Friday and the online shopping boom on Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to come together to show the world why it’s good to give. Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering your time or just spreading the word at the start of the Christmas shopping season, #GivingTuesday is a call to action for everyone who wants to give something back," the movement says.
It's already one of Twitter's top trends, suggesting there's a lot of shopping penance to be done.

Small Business Saturday
Another antidote to the big sales of the year. Local independent businesses are celebrated with an entire day dedicated to encouraging shoppers to spend their pennies at them. Last year, there were 16m people doing just that.
“Most people in this country own a small business, work for a small business or know somebody who does so supporting a small business on Small Business Saturday is personal and means you are supporting somebody you know,” says national campaign director, Michelle Ovens, ahead of this year's event.
Manic Monday
Yep, you thought that Cyber Monday was huge. But Manic Monday is traditionally the day when we collectively splash the most cash online. This Cyber Monday may have given it a run for its money what with that £3bn spend.
Out of Stock Saturday
Here's when the hangover of Black Friday and Cyber Monday really kicks in. This is when those impulse purchases will be returned. leaving retailers potentially short of stock more than at any other time of the year.

Christmas Eve
Of course, this is the day for the traditional Christmas shopping rush. Good for retailers, but surely no fun for unprepared shoppers fighting over the last socks and tie gift set on the shelf for Grandad. Last year, payment firm Worldpay said this day was its single busiest day of the year, processing 26m transactions in the UK.
Boxing Day
This has always been the biggest day of the year for shoppers and retailers. But with Black Friday swooping in, shoppers remained at home last year. With those Black Friday deals a little more muted this year, Boxing Day may return to the crazy bun fight it's always been in 2015.
