Black Friday sales 2015 UK: The best deals and offers from John Lewis, Amazon, Tesco, Currys PC World and Sainsbury on 27 November
Retailers have been building up to Black Friday for months – now it's finally here and the best bargains have gone on sale.
There's plenty of deals to choose from, ranging from electricals and homeware to fashion and sporting goods.
Here's our round-up of the best the high street (and online) has to offer today.
John Lewis has been keeping its cards close to its chest, only revealing what would be available around 90 minutes before the deals started.
The department store's offers include £1,000 off the 65-inch LG Curved 4K Ultra HD TV, taking the price down to £2,999 and £120 off the 40-inch Samsung LED 4K Ultra-HD Smart TV, taking its price to £379.
In fashion, it's price matching brands including Whistles, Reiss, All Saints, French Connection, Barbour, MaxMara and Ted Baker.
And homeware brands including Kenwood, Dyson, Nespresso and Phillips are also going on offer.
Amazon, which has been building up to today throughout the week, has kept some of the best deals until last.
It is offering 25 per cent off the XBox One, up to 30 per cent off its range of Kindles, 40 per cent off Le Creuset pots and pans, and PlayStation 4 for £269. The etailer will be adding new deals throughout the day at 10-minute intervals.
Currrys PC World has got £200 off HP laptops, £50 off the Pebble Smartwatch and £100 off the Samsung Galaxy tablet. It's also taking £600 off the 60-inch Samsung Smart Ultra HD 4K TV, while the XBox One is available for £239.
Tesco is also going big on games consoles, with £60 off the XBox One and reductions on a number of games bundles. It's also dropping prices on the Samsung Galaxy tablet, Samsung soundbar and Apple iPad, which is available for £259.
Sainsbury's is sticking to the in-store only event of last year – which many others have dropped after crowds and chaos ensued. Bargain hunters venturing to one of the participating stores will find deals on Celcus TVs, Dyson vacuum cleaners and HP laptops, among others.
Which retailer will win the battle of Black Friday? These are the companies identified by one analyst firm – and the reasons why they stand above the rest.
