Lord Mayor’s Show London 2015: All the road closures and traffic advice along the procession route for 14 November’s 800th special
The Lord Mayor's Show has grown quite a bit since it first started 800 years ago. But then, so has London.
Back then there were just 15,000 people living in the City. So when the first Lord Mayor's procession made its way down the River Thames, there would have been little disruption for Londoners going about their own business.
Things are quite different now. Half a million people are expected to watch the procession, which will begin at 9am and continue until well into the evening.
There will be plenty of road closures in place to allow the procession to pass on 14 November.
