Glastonbury 2016 tickets have already sold out… in just 30 minutes
Tickets for next year's Glastonbury festival have sold out, just 30 minutes after they went on sale.
The annual clamour to get hold of tickets for the festival in Somerset has seen 120,000 tickets snapped up within half an hour of going on sale at 9am on Sunday morning.
A first batch of 15,000 tickets which went on sale on Friday and included coach travel sold out within 20 minutes.
The second batch of tickets which went on sale today cost from £228, despite the line-up of musicians and performers yet to be announced. Further tickets will be available again in the spring in the form of resales from anyone lucky enough to have picked up a ticket today but then change their mind.
