Wanted: Chief takeaway tester for Just Eat
Fast food afficionados JustEat are recruiting for a very special role just in time for the start of term: chief takeaway tester.
The UK branch of the company, which has over 30,000 restaurants using the service, is calling on university students to apply for one of its six available tester roles.
Successful testers will receive a £50 per month worth of free takeaway from the website for this school year. In exchange, they'll be required to devour pizzas, bhunas and chow meins from restaurants in their local area. The winners will also win a comfy onesie: the uniform of choice for the chief takeaway tester, as well as a variety of kitchen utensils, such as chopsticks, whic will provide crucial assistance with their testing.
The company announced the job opening with a video – set in a typical student house, Just Eat's former "chief tester" calls on students to step up to the plate apply.
There's a catch, though: winners will also be required become those people who blog everything they eat. A spokesperson from the company added that the victorious six will receive their own selfie sticks, and "get the opportunity to work with Just Eat's award-winning social media team to showcase their foody findings".
