Support for Scottish independence is at its highest ever according to YouGov, just two weeks ahead of Scots heading to the polls.
The Yes campaign has gained momentum with a significant boost from Alex Salmond's last performance in the televised debate on independence. The No campaign's lead has been reduced to the narrowest ever.
Over the last six months, those in favour of an independent Scotland has hovered around the 39 per cent to 42 per cent mark. This grew slightly in the second week of August and has hit a high of 47 per cent in the past week.
