David Wilson has been appointed global head of energy claims at the insurance business. He has over 13 years’ experience in claims, and was most recently energy and property claims manager at a London-based insurance company.
Perella Weinberg Partners
Jorma Ollila has been named an advisory partner at the financial services firm. He is a former chairman and chief executive of Nokia, and is currently chairman of Royal Dutch Shell and Outokumpu Oyj. In his new role, Ollila will provide senior counsel to the firm and its clients.
JP Morgan Asset Management
The asset manager has appointed Malcolm Smith to head its client portfolio management team within the European equity group. He joins from BlackRock, where he was a managing director and product strategist within its fundamental equity business.
RICS
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has announced that Louise Brooke-Smith has become its first female president. She will continue to be involved with Brooke Smith Planning, the development and planning consultancy she established in 1994, where she is a director. Brooke-Smith is also a former vice chair of the National Planning Forum.
Kames Capital
The investment management firm has appointed two asset managers to its property team. Iain Corker joins from DTZ’s retail asset management team, where he was a senior surveyor. Chris Munday joins from Valad Europe, where he managed a portfolio of commercial properties across London and the South East.
RWC
The investment management firm has appointed Matteo Cianfoni and Roderick Loffler to its sales team. Cianfoni was responsible for Italian sales at GLG, and has previously held roles at Morgan Stanley. Loffler has been at RWC for three years, and joins the sales team from his previous role in client services.
Norton Rose Fulbright
Nigel Dickinson has been appointed partner in the law firm’s London debt capital markets practice. He will join from CMS Cameron McKenna in London. Dickinson has over 10 years’ experience advising on derivatives matters.
